HERE WE ARE... One year ago... on AUGUST 21,2010 THIS was BEFORE the girrrls tossed their Garters... you can see them .. if you look close.. hehehe
We have had a very eventful year... fur three dachshunds.. We CELEBRATED HOLIDAYS and we Suffered the loss of some wonderful furends... Our Treasured Furend Richie made this Valentine fur US... before he crossed the bridge.

We did some Traveling... THIS is from the July trip to HonaRooRoo

We now have SockMonkey beds... {{{{BLUSH}}}}

and.... Mom J., (MY Beloved Mother In Paw) made MATCHING winter Coats fur US.. the girrls have Bows on their butts.. hehehe Not me though... I had to have some Special... alterations on MY coat ... butt they don't want me to tell about that... hehehehe OH... they did get me a wonderful Red HAT that even has a MILKBONE HOLDER too... I can tell THAT pawt.

Like I said we have been Clear around the HOLIDAY CALENDAR together...

AND... then there is our PAWblic Service work...

We Furters believe in serving Blogville and trying to make it the bestest place in the world.

As you can tell...

We have enjoyed the SWINGS in Temperature, and the swings in OUR YardS, as the seasons rolled by.

All things considered... Ruby and Penny and I have had a WONDERFUL YEAR TOGETHER.

We Look forward to MANY MANY more, AND WE WISH THE SAME FUR YOU!

The year was NOT without some "BUMPS"

When we say BUMPS... we aren't exactly Barkin about the kind that you find in a long stretch of BAD ROAD.. NO... WE really mean LUMPS

Kind of like.. MUZZLE MUMPS or FACIAL HUMPS

Bumps , Lumps, Muzzle Mumps, Facial HUMPS... We were sort of Down in the DUMPS over this situation... well actually TWO SEPERATE SITUATIONS..
Ruby and I BOTH had these BAD BUMP BOUTS... We were Miserable. BUTT the one thing WE could count on... Frank would LOVE us....

through these rough patches... Through THICK and Thin we are sure he will be here fur us... Always.

PeeS.... the humps and bumps and lumps are all gone... butt Not Frank's love...

Although my ALWAYS Beautiful wives were worried at the time, they are both all better, thanks to Mom J.'s good care, and looking as gorgeous as ever. We don't even KNOW what caused these BUMPS... Months apawt.

Well, the furst year of MARRIAGE is supposed to be a LEARNING year, Right? And we all three learned that LOVE really WILL Keep US Together... just like that that old song said it would.

Yes... even when Ruby and Penny found out my SECRET ...

My Beautiful Wives still LOVED me... and have accepted the fact that they married a..

Hi EVERYBUDDY!!!
I hate to tell you this butt.. there won't be any nifty pictures of our Honeymoon.
We were in the gondola thingy and.. well the girrrls (now my WIVES) who are kinda ornery sometimes... well they were.. sort of teasing me and they were making tickles and stuff when I was TRYING to take their pictures.. and ummmm well, I sort of accidently... dropped our only camera.. in the canal. hehehe SORRY there won't be any pictures. Butt we surely do have grrrreat memories of our Bachelor and Bachelorette Pawties, and the Wedding, and the Reception and the... H O N E Y M O O N.
Married life is GRRRRRREAT.
PeeS... Don't furget that Penny is having a Birfday.

THANKS AGAIN FUR making this all so WONDERFUL. We are sooo .. hey you two stop that.. hehehehehehehhehe ... ummmmm I gotta go.

No one has seen Alien's ship.. and that wild and crazy bunch that took off in it.. for a while. Wonder what they are up to?

More of the Guests:

Stanzie was quiet at furst... butt wow did she loosen up when the band started. Don't let that sweet lace collar fool you!! The gal can shake a paw! She even danced a couple of times with Mango.

Wyatt really got into singing with the E. Thugs. There were rumors that he may want to start a band of his own. Perhaps call them the Green Thumbs. The ladies were lickin' their chops over him, that's for sure.

Here we have Lola and Franklin. She kept a Sisterly Eye on her brother. Don't they look spiffy??? They remembered that Ruby and Penny LOVE Yellow... how thoughful of them. Once Lola gave Franklin a couple of good dance steps to practice... she went to town herself. She was even seen break dancin' with Tucker. They made a good couple on the dance area.

Next we have:

DoDo, MoMo and.....

... Fluffy . They kind of stuck close together. They were a bit shy. Butt they did manage to get plenty of food and cake!!! And after they met some furends their age... they had a super time.

Here is Tucker showing some of his fancy pawwork. The guy can really DANCE!!! We just may see him on that Dancin' with the Stars show. He even found a couple of other Guys that could do some dance floor damage. Together they put on quite a show for the crowd. Tucker was very popular with the Wo-Dawgs.

Zona, Phoenix, and Cali took a rest and listened to the band and kept time with their tails.
That was the dance number where Sarge was out there with Morgan. It was the ONLY dance those two sat out... that's for sure. Phoenix and Cali had no problem finding pawtners either.

Tessa looked soooo cool and comfortable in her summer dress. For a tiny gal... she packed in some food and drink and GOOOOD times.

Lorenza was so popular with the fellas that she hardly got to take a drink break. We were all kind of disappointed that she didn't change dresses 87 times though. hehehe

Bunny, Blueberry and Lilac shocked everyone when they ....

jumped up and started.......

DANCING LIKE.... well, you know those Chip and Dale guys... and they were HOWLING... Green Papers... Green Papers.... give US Green Papers. Those ladies ended up with dozens of green papers under their collars. Must be those L O N G legs of theirs. They even did a Rockettes Kick Dance... Maybe that was what they were working on while they were off in Alien's Space ship with.... Puddles and her "CREW". hehehe

Morgan was really excited when Sarge asked her to dance. Butt then she met a couple of the other guys and seemed to forget all about Frankie's Best Dawg. This young lady may need some "Watching" in the future.

Hero hardly left Twix's side. He didn't even dance with anyone else. They made a striking couple. Doesn't Twix look AMAZING in Yellow??? And she remembered that it was the Wedding color... not surprising... She is that kind of lady. And that is JUST the way Hero treated her too. Like a Lady... He must have noticed that Twix's Dad is ... well, just a bit protective of her.

Speaking of Looking .... Gorgeous.... Check out Spongy and Licky.... Pearls Feathers and Flowers... and a couple of Fine Ladies. Who would have thought they could MOVE like THAT?????

Holly the good dog shows us all how to kick up our paws on the dance floor. She really knows how to move. She can certainly FLY when she has a Fast song to move and groove to. Her paws hardly touched down the entire time.

Let the Good Times Roll:

Remi was quite a hit with the Wo-Dawgs. He seemed a bit layed back at furst butt once he had a tummy full of picnic he got right into the SWIM of things. He even asked Ciara to dance.

Fortuanately Alien was more interested in Sugar than he was in Puddles. He kept asking her to dance and bringing her drinks. We were all stunned when Alien didn't seem to CARE that Puddles and her CREW... just up and took off in his space ship. No one thought we would ever see Puddles, Mayzie, or Maggie Mae again... especially since Norwood, Dennis, and Rooney were also on board.

Sallie Marie had the time of her life, once the band started up. She about danced her lovely paws off... with a certain Bo-Dawg..... It was a good thing she ate well at the picnic. BTW... do you have any idea how much an Alien can EAT???? Ginger and Chip said that they saw Alien stuff a burger and BEANS in Sallie Marie's purse. Now that is gonna stain, for sure.

Talk about eating... that Anakin Man shoveled in some Serious Groceries now. Well, he may have been nervous about his up coming Performance. Butt you should have seen how much the guy DRANK.... His lovely date Sequoia hardly left his side. She was even passing out paper and pencils for Anakin to give Pawtographs. She is one smitten Pug. The only problem came when Fenris asked Sequoia to dance... and Anakin Man just about came after the poor guy. Whew.. that was close, let me tell you.

Shasta and Shiloh had themselves a blast. They hadn't gotten out much lately and must have needed to let their ears down... BIG TIME. They ate like... well, that will just stay here,too. THEN they started workin' the crowd. They were everywhere havin a howling good time. THEN... the dancing started and Katie Bar the Door.. Those beagles can BOOGIE.

Shiv was pretty quiet until... the Garter Toss. Man he can move for a little guy. He got right in there with all the big guys and gave it his best shot.

Chico had a riot with all the new furends and exciting happenings. What a DANCER, by the way. Proving once again.. you don't have to BE hoooge to have a HOOOOGE bunch of fun.

Oh Sweet Sugar... we don't call her SWEET for nothing. That gal helped all the young'uns out BEFORE she got her food, drink, and cake. Then she did a circle dance with about 6 of them at once. SWEET that's her... BUTT make no mistake she had a good time later.. You should see how she can MOVE and GROOVE to an Elgin Thug tune!!! Alien seemed to agree!

Toby Moses... does NOT move like his namesake. At least not when the beat is fast and furious.

George Pooh was no slouch with the dancin' or the ladies. What is it with all these pugs.. they are a wild and crazy breed.

Now Lily Jayne was a bit (just a bit) more reserved... until she started makin' eyes at Anakin when he was singing and playing music. She is lucky Sequoia didn't see.

And Mimi Roo was givin' Shingo the "eye" ......

.... and Gracie Lynn was out there shakin' booty with the best of 'em. What IS it with these Pugs???? Perhaps it was the Headliner??? Perhaps it was just that we have so many Smush Faced furends. Whatever... they ALL seem to love a pawty.

Look at Molly in her Pretty Pirate dress. Hope she doesn't plan to take over Frankie's Ship.

OR... Alien's space ship...

Of course we KNOW for a fact that Indiana and Shingo LOVE to Pawty with the best of 'em.
This pawty was TAME compared to the Luau in Hona Roo Roo.

Speaking of a Pawty Animal... Josie can fill that bill FUR SURE. Just look at how gorgeous she is in her RED HOT frock. This is a gal lookin for.... ummmm ...... now SEE ...that is ANOTHER thing that is stayin' here. BOL BOL

Now here we have Mango the Maltese Kiddo and Ximui and Chubs Just look how ready they were to get into the celebration mode!!! They did some serious eating and ... oooops.. can't tell that pawt. Another of those things that Stayed. BOL

More Fine Food, Fun, and Furends:

The wedding certainly had its share of well dressed guests. When Ciara, Thunder, and Phantom arrived they looked like 87 Million bucks. We were all so glad that Phantom could make it. Thunder was sooooo busy looking after Ciara and Phantom. Butt he wasn't too busy to have some fun. Ciara hooked up with a couple of Princesses.. and even spent some time Trading Crowns with Daisy.

Bonny and Hector had a wonderful time meeting and chatting with all the other guests. The two of them danced up a storm. They were quite surprised when they met Puddles and realized that she truly was the minister.

If Jazzi was disappointed that there were no Tacos on the table she didn't show it. She did say that if she had known that....

Lucy was going to be there, she would have come on her horsey, instead of in her car. The other Scotties kept asking her where she had gotten her lovely dress.

Our next three guests : Mack, Lily, and Paris seemed to have made so many new furends..

..... that they hardly caught sight of...

.... one another from the time the ceremony ended, until the guests began leaving. They must have had a wonderful time ... spreading themselves around and getting aquainted.

Miss Maggie Mae wore her pretty pink flower bow that one of her furends had handmade for her. It complemented her furs quite nicely. She almost lost it in the tussle over the bouquets though. Butt that is another story. How many guys did she dance with? Too many to count!!! When she cut loose... there was no holding her back.

Hootie and Baby Rocket Dog managed to live up to their....

..... names. At one point Hootie had a whole crowd around listing to Jokes.. and Baby Rocket Dog... really ROCKED out on the dance area. They were having a blast from start to finish.

Mollie Jo and Bobo stunned the everybuddy. We always THOUGHT...

that they were such quiet, well mannered, little things.... butt let me tell you... when momma isn't watching... well, remember.. we all PAWMISED... WHAT HAPPENED AT THE RECEPTION... STAYS AT THE RECEPTION.

Now about Uncle Puppy.... thank goodness Thunder took notice... and kept U.P. and sweet little Ciara together as much as possible. HUMMMMMM maybe Thunder was onto something there. Butt that is for the future.

Now Norwood was another matter all together. You would have thought that he would have been hanging with his buddies Mango and Dexter the entiretime. Butt that was NOT the case... He had this HOOOGE gaggle of girrrrrls all around him. A certain grayhound kept sticking green papers under his collar and demanding that he dance with her. It was kind of a mob scene if you must know.

After the.... ummmmm excitement at the bachelor pawty... George had the good sense to stay back and enjoy his food and drinks with a more select group of guests. Now that doesn't mean that he didn't grab a dance with Puddles and another with Mayzie, and one with Maggie Mae, and one.... well, you get the idea. He had himself a gooood time, butt kept out of any potential trouble spots.

Reina and Torres camed to the wedding all the way from sunny Singapore. They kept trying to get us all to go rafting in Lake Superior. Too cold and way to scary girls. Torres did a great job singing along with the band.

And the guest list continues.....

Luna looks just lovely in her pretty pink frock. She had a super time eating and DANCING her tiny little feet off. She even met ANOTHER Princess and... a couple of other CROWN wearing ladies. They made quite a group once they were all together.. and cause quite a stir too.

Now Bella, Daisy, and Kendra managed to stay within barking distance of each other, no matter how many times they were each asked to dance. How DO they do that? Let me tell you that those gals KNOW how to Pawty... big time. (What happened at the wedding... Stays at the wedding.)

Benny and Lily had so much fun that they didn't seem to miss the fact that there were no cards or dice at the reception. Have you ever noticed how much all of these Smushed Faced breeds can DRINK??? Where do they put it???

Booker and Asa seemed very quiet and shy... UNTIL Booker made that Hoooooge catch. It was really nice of him to let Asa wear the garter around for a while. He even let her dance with Dennis and Dexter and Norwood... Butt he kept an eye on her the whole time. Well, except while HE was dancing.

Izzy had to keep leaving her purse for someone to watch while she and Brutus hit the dance area... or the drink section. They seemed to disappear for about an hour once though. Wonder what THAT was about?????? (what happened at the Wedding... Stays.. etc. etc.)

Dressed in high style scarves...

... Cupcake and Lovie attracted the attention of a number of gentledawgs. They never had an empty plate, cup, or dance card.

Rooney spent some time searching for a certain Missing Guest until he was told that NO One had seen her...... Seems as though he gave up and decided to have a good time anyway. He was seen dancing with Luna at one time and then with Morgan. That boy surely did enjoy the Picnic foods.

Ditto

was a bit startled when the Band first started up, but certainly did recover quickly once she and Minna Krebs started for the dance area.

Lucy was very glad that she didn't have to pull the carriage. She wanted to be able to kick up her hooves in the dance area without any sore muscles. She wasn't nearly as impressed with the picnic as she was with the lush grass in the park.

When Fenris tried to catch the garters... well, it was kind of a free for all, he jumped so high that he landed on poor Lucy's back. Fortunately neither was injured. They were later seen on the dance area cutting some Mean Grass together. And Fenris was wearing Lucy's hat!!!

Now Fiona and Abby were sooooo hoping that they would catch the bouquets. Well, at least one of them anyway. After a couple more helpings of picnic fare, they seemed to forget the disappointment though.

When the line formed for Cake.. Frappie was one of the furst. He was also heard singing along with the Elgin Thugs a time or two.

Fudgie

must have been hungry after the long trip. He had seconds of everything.

Mocha did some super break dancing, much to the delight of the entire crowd. He and Tucker even put on a little show together......Later in the evening. The girrrl dawgs LOVED THAT.

Princess and Luna formed a fast furendship, since they are both Royality. They kept eyeing the Carriage.... and asking for glass slippers..... All the Bo-Dawgs were wanting to dance with them.

Sugar must take dance lessons where Mocha does. They could be on TV. What talent.

It was all a bit much for Wai Pai to take in.

Wai Max kept Wai Pai company while all the fancy dancing was going on. Maybe they were just planning what moves they are going to be practicing.

Preacher Puddles changed into her Wally Marte original sundress for the reception. Don't you think she did a wonderful job with the ceremony? She is much more PUDDLESLIKE now that it is over. Everyone wonders what sort of mischief she may get into... as the day continues.

Here we have Miss Mayzie all decked out in HER Wally Marte. It's an off the shoulder style. She is waiting for the cake to be cut and the drinks to be served. Of course she is now joined at the hip with her BFF... You know who...

Brudder Ranger is TRYING to keep an eye on his sister. He knows Mayzie, and how she can be when Puddles is around. Ranger certainly looks handsome in his tie. He keeps asking everybuddy if they have seen Puddles and Mayzie. Poor guy.

Yes, Preacher Puddles has been retired for the remainder of the day... And Puddles Duddles WHATEVER is back... Ranger will have his paws full for sure. When Puddles and her BFF Mayzie get together... anything is pawsible.

Molly and Pip looked amazing, and oh what a couple they make. Molly is so pretty and Mr.Pip is a dashing fellow. Pip ushered Molly about as though she were the most precious pup in all Blogville. Everyone hoped that Frankie took note of that. Molly made sure that Pip stayed on his diet.... for the most pawt. Oh did they ever dance and let their furs down. They were both glad that the Chi-Town PoPo have no Authority... in Canada.

Daisy's dad dropped her off and reminded her that she was to be on her best behavior. Now how could a girl wearing a Crown and a Pink dress get into any trouble at a Wedding? He must have been thinking about some of the things he heard and saw when he chaperoned the Bachelor Pawty.
He would have been pleased with her lady like behavior... most of the time. What happened AT the Wedding... Stays.. At the Wedding. (You will be hearing THAT several more times in the next day or so.) BOL

Oh look at this handsome group. Dennis has managed to get Trouble,Tucker, and Trixie to stay out of "danger" for one day, at least.

Mango and Dexter (we can't call a dashing guy like that...PeeWee) are sure to break some hearts today. Norwood was seen chatting with them at one time. This group seemed to have a lot to talk about.... and in Mango's own word... SCARY. Blogville may never be the same.

Look who we have here.... Zona and Sarge. Sarge was worried that she wouldn't make it back from her vacation in time for the wedding. Perhaps she cut a day or so off... just to be sure. Since they both love the "outdoors", it isn't surprising that they chose a QUIET place to eat. They seem to be getting along... quite well... WINK.
They both agreed that Sarge would save a dance with a certain young lady. More on that later.

Reception: Picnic Foods,1st dance, bouquet, garter

Catering by Oscar Mayer

The tables were full of wonderful foodables and good drinks. The Dachsies With Moxie helped everyone to heaping plates cups and bowls full of summertime favorites. The guests were so full they ended up stretching out all over the beautiful park. Some could even be heard Snoring and Burrrrping. It was a good thing that the girrrrls allowed a bit of extra time before they planned the big garterS and bouquetS tossings.

Oh my goodness will you look at that scrumptious Cake!!! Ruby and Penny do love the sunny COLOR.... YELLOW. They also adore daisies. After the girrls cut the first piece.. they gave Frankie a taste and then he fed a bite to both of them.. ... That was followed by some licking and kissing and giggles, OF COURSE.

Thank you to The Road Dogs for providing the Paw Print Groom Cake. It was delish too.

The guests were wondering where they were going to find tummy space for the cake after that huge meal. Frankie could hardly wait for the last empty cake plate to hit the trash bin... so that he could get on with a CERTAIN... VERY ENJOYABLE... WEDDING TRADITION... The REMOVAL..and tossing of...

the Garter(s). All of the Bo-Dawgs came racing over for that... with very little coaching and calling. It was a real Squirrel Race to see who the TWO lucky guys would be. There was some snapping and snarling and even a bit of bitey face until two paws were raised above everybuddy's heads.

Then it was time for the Wo-Dawgs to try their paws at Catching the BOUQUET(S).

What a scramble that was... Twix and Molly gave it their best shot. Ruby and Penny really let those bouquets fly... The girls made a wild scramble. They really kicked up some dust and grass, and when all the skirts and dresses were smoothed back into place the lucky girrrls were...

Once all the clapping and cheering stopped everyone moved over to the Dancing area where

Preacher Puddles gazes upon our group of furends. Sarge has helped Frankie into his Wedding Clothes. He had better not drop their wedding tags overboard. Daisy has kept the girrrls well hidden from view as she assisted them with their Wedding attire... no bad luck on this day.

Oh! gasp.... HERE THEY COME... Everybuddy is standing up. Frankie can hardly see them. Hurry girrrls. He can't wait much longer. Here comes Daisy in front of them. She looks so pretty. The BRIDES are GORGEOUS. .... .... ..... They are wearing their favorite flowers... Sarge had to prop Frankie up for a moment.

Puddles Begins:

Minna Krebs offered to deliver us from the dock to the Reception in this wonderful CARRIAGE. She took us a ride round the Park. Our furends all cheered and howled for us.

Well folks, the GROOM is responsible for giving a "little something" to the Preacher. You know WHO that will be.... Sooooo I got to thinking and decided that I needed to give "HER" something extra special for the BIG day.... In the hopes that.. it might encourage her to BE ON HER BEST BEHAVIOR. I have been thinking about the ceremony as sort of a SCAREmony, you know. Any way I thought that perhaps an Lovely Frock would be the answer. I don't want her up there Nekkid you understand.
So, I contacted this very well known designer of Pawty Dresses and asked him to go to Puddles' BLOG... and read all about her... so that he could get a feel for what she is like and see her size and coloring and all such stuffs as that. Then... I asked him to make something that would be kinda Glamorous (claws we all know that girrls is kinda' red neck) to spiff her all up for Aug.21st..
I had to send him about $87,000.00 green papers to do this work... I guess FAMOUS Clothes guys make LOTS of money for their work. Butt I have confidence that it will help to contol some of Puddles' more Base urges. If you know what I mean.
Well, so the guy took the job and got back to me saying that he has sent the Fancy Frock on to Puddles House .... already. He swears that he has made it all glam with REAL DIAMOND accents and everything. He even sent me a pic of the thingy, butt I am NO Judge of Girrrrls Clothes. Sooo, would you please be so kind as to tell me what you think of the thingy????

So she will be in for a big surprise when she can NOT see anything on this post. hehehehe Don't let her pry anything out of you. Mum's the word. She will go totally Cracker Dawg Crazy, not knowing what Ruby and Penny and I are asking of YOU.... You may have noticed that Puddles is sniffin around wanting to be the Preacher at our wedding. We are kinda worried about asking her. So... dear furends we have come up with a solution. We are going to ask YOUR opinion. IF.... IF.... Puddles really does have a Licence to marry us... and can show us PROOF of such, SHOULD WE ASK HER??? YES or NO ????
